Sound Therapy

Sound therapy, also known as sound healing, is an ancient form of therapy using the sounds and vibrations of instrument such as Tibetan or crystal singing bowls, gongs, shaman drums, chimes and more. It's a non-invasive form of therapy that requires the receiver only to be present. You can experience it individually in a form of sound massage, in a group session also called sound bath or sound meditation or in a private setting for two.

After a sound healing you will feel more relaxed, will sleep better, feel more in balance physically, mentally and emotionally. You will feel more grounded, present in the moment and connected to yourself and your body.

What is sound therapy

The gentle and soothing sounds can help to relax deeply and take you away on a journey within. They bring your body and mind into a meditative state. The vibrations, on the other hand, enter the body, which is mostly made of water, and interact/ resonate with it. Water carries the vibrations around thus helping to release energy blockages.

Benefits of sound therapy

Research shows that sound influences us on the very basic level. The vibrations can impact us on a cellular level, affecting our brain, nerves, muscles and body organs. Removing energy blockages helps our body to activate the self healing properties.

Undergoing sound therapy can help to alleviate issues such as:

  • stress

  • anxiety

  • depression

  • burn-out

  • fatigue

  • chronic pain
